Forgotten, but forgiven?

I never bothered to make this clear to any of you did I? No? Well, The great Pacific Frontier was called such during the 1920’s. It was a time of aviation exploration, and the whole world was waking up to this new idea of transportation. Planes were being used to fly across the United States, Canada, South America and even back and forth across the big ol’ pond to England. But one piece of the map was left unexplored… The Pacific.

The idea of countless islands scattered across a great blue expanse left explorers, profiteers, pilots and even government powers drooling. There was money to be made on this new frontier, and everyone knew that planes would be the key.
