Kate's Cove!

Kate's Cove, or as it is lovingly called by most pilots and mariners, Kate's Keep. An old spanish fort with a tall lighthouse at one corner straddling a small rocky stretch of land not too far from the U.S. Army controlled Kingman Reef. This strategically placed island is home to the Katherine Court Hotel.
Katherine Court was orphaned at the age of 12. Her Scottish parents were killed during World War One. Her father in the trenches and her mother in a field hospital. This left the entirety of their fortune at her disposal. When she was 18 she rented a Tramp Steamer and headed towards the Pacific Frontier. She discovered the island and fort as well as the small coconut grove and immediately fell in love with it. She invested all that she had into the restoration of the old fort, now the most beautiful hotel in all the Pacific Frontier.
